The Zimiy was a terrorist black market organization that was involved in smuggling weapons and supplies to various groups, most notably the Iron Brotherhood. On November 27th, 2006, the Zemiy was transferring supplies from one of their cargo ships to a barge that was used by the Iron Brotherhood; however, the cargo transfer was disrupted when a SEAL fireteam killed the Zemiy's leader and blew up the cargo ship, severely weakening the Zemiy.
