It appears as the Val, a Mercenary-only weapon available with the Cold Front DLC. It's in-game description reads: "A silenced assault rifle that utilizes high performance armor piercing ammunition for deadly stealth in the field." It is used often by players because of how well it excels in close quarters due its high rate of fire and above-average firepower. The Val comes with five, twenty-round box magazines, and can be equipped with one of several short-ranged optics, a grip, or a laser sight.
